Julie has been looking after my nervous dog for over a year. She has received great care from Julie and the whole family. She has helped with my dog’s anxiety and made amendments when out on walks to help with this. My dog is clearly delighted to see Julie whenever I drop her off. Julie obviously loves dogs and gives them the best of care.

We have used Julie to look after Guinness for about two years now and we would never go anywhere else.

Julie is so friendly and welcoming and treats Guinness as if he was one of her own, he settles in to her lovely home within minutes of arriving and we never have to worry about him whilst we are away. We get regular updates on his adventures and he gets plenty of walks and cuddles during his stay.

Julie always welcomes us into her home and there is always time for cuddles with the furry guests too. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a worry free dog boarding experience.

We brought our cocker spaniel, Buddy, to Julie for an overnight stay whilst we attended a wedding. He normally stays with family, so we were unsure how dog boarding would go.

Well… we needn’t have worried. He was looked after wonderfully and thoroughly spoilt! Julie and her family took Buddy on a fantastic walk around Ladybower Reservoir before stopping off at a dog-friendly pub for dinner.

Julie really treated Buddy like her own dog and she kept us updated with text messages and photos of what he was up to.

We were delighted with the service and we picked up a very happy little dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to use Julie again.

My little dachshund, Rufus, just spent a week in Julie’s care and I have been very happy with the results. He is 2, and a very nervous dog, who has not been left with strangers before. I needn’t have worried. He was treated as one of the family and the facilities in the house are excellent. He thoroughly enjoyed being part of a little group of small dogs, who had their own room and access to a large enclosed garden. He was walked regularly and I was updated with pictures and messages every day. When I collected him, it was obvious that he had created a bond with Julie and her family. I have already booked him in for another visit in September and am so relieved that I have found someone I trust to look after him.

Julie and her family cared for our 3 miniature schnauzers in October 2017 and I can honestly say, if you are looking for your dog to be looked after, you will not find better. Our 3 love going to Julie when we go away and we receive regular emails and photo’s to update us on how they are. All 3 of our dogs receive a lot of attention from us at home and I can tell this continues when they are with Julie and her family. Our eldest dog Loulou has become very attached to Julie’s daughter who like her mum, gives the dogs a lot of fuss and attention. We have moved away from the area now but still travel to Chesterfield when we go away.

Julie is a very caring doggy homeboarder, when i leave Woody I have the confidence knowing that he will be well looked after, he is safe and i dont have to worry about him and he enjoys the company of the other dogs, it almost like a holiday for Woody as well and i can go on my holidays knowing that he is happy.
