I have recently boarded my two border collies with Julie for 2 weeks. I found her home very dog friendly, fully enclosed with a park at the back of the property. Julie treats the dogs as part of her family and really cares for each of them and their individual needs. She gets to know your dogs beforehand and even has them for a sleepover. You are kept updated on their wellbeing by text and feel at ease and happy for them to be so lovingly looked after. My dogs came back happy and well. I will use Julie again
Julie has recently looked after my 4yr old Heinz variety dog, Max, a sort of jack Russell on stilts! She took him at very short notice, literally a day as my usual dog sitter was poorly. As soon as I spoke to her on the phone I was confident Max would be fine with her, and he really was. In fact I think he would have been more than happy to stay much longer, so ive promised him I'll take him back! Julie absolutely knows dogs, you can tell how they interact with her. Her house is lovely, not a hint of a doggy smell (how does she manage that?!) and totally dog friendly, a fab safe and spacious garden and settees esp for canine visitors. Max thought Christmas had arrived! Julie messaged me to reassure me he had settled and also the next day to let me know he was ok, tho as soon as I met Julie I had no concerns at all. I would recommend her 100%, what a lovely person. Thanku Julie again to you and ur family
My dog Hiddles stayed with Julie and her family for 4 days, after a family member was unable to look after her. We had never used anyone outside of the family before, so I was quite worried about finding someone last minute, especially with my dog suffering from separation anxiety. Julie listened to my concerns and suggested a trial stop over, she was very sensible and it was clear she was putting my dogs needs first to make sure she would be happy and that more than one day wouldn't be too stressful. I was then remeasured that she would be okay. Whilst away Julie kept in daily contact, answering all my concerns about any problems, which enabled me to enjoy my week away. When collecting Hiddles it was clear how much Hiddles had enjoyed being there and had made a friend in Julie. Even after collecting Hiddles, Julie was happy to help with queries and showed a genuine interest and care for Hiddles. I would definitely recommend Divine Dog Care and would return if needed. Definitely a home from home experience for Hiddles. Thank you.
Julie looks after both my Dad and our dogs. Both dogs cannot wait to see Julie every week and I’ve always found animals to be good judges of character. The dogs always have a great time and knowing your dog is well looked after and safe is priceless. Julie herself is a wonderful person, extremely accommodating and very flexible when it comes to dropping off and picking up our dogs. I could not be happier with Julie and her doggy daycare. I would, and do, recommend her to anyone who will listen. Thank you Julie.
We had to leave our dog Bobby in someone else's care for the first time, as our family were all flying out to Crete for a wedding. We found Julie after many recommendations on Facebook. Bobby is a very likely dog but is also extremely friendly and loveable. Julie was keen to meet him before booking him in, which we liked. She wanted to see how he would fit in with the other dogs that she cares for regularly, and asked us lots of questions about his temperament and routines. Some people that we contacted were just happy to take our business! She kept in touch with us whilst we were away - we enjoyed receiving our pictures and updates - and we returned home to a happy dog.
There are many that advertise home boarding but Julie does 'what it says on the tin'. She took my 11 yr old westie Oscar at very short notice while I went on a house hunting trip. Oscar has a few health problems and I didn't want to leave him in a kennel environment as any stress can make him poorly. He has returned home happy, healthy and well cared for and I'm certain he enjoyed his short holiday and would have been quite happy to stay longer. Julie also provides daily updates which again is very reassuring. Nothing is too much trouble.. I will definitely be using Julie again and I can truly say that if you have any doubts about leaving your best friend give Julie a try, you won't be disappointed, it really is home from home boarding. Many many thanks Julie from Pauline and Oscar x
Julie looked after our two Shih-Tzus whilst our entire family was away for our wedding in June. Back in 2016 when we made the booking we couldn't believe Julie's professionalism and care. She was the only person who wanted to get to know our dogs were comfortable with her house prior to them staying and she actually wanted to build a bond with them so they could feel perfectly at home. She was actually too good at her job, our dogs were miserable after staying with her for 9 nights and they seems to miss her for ages!!
I recently boarded my Border Collie Max with Julie and I think he enjoyed the experience. Julie is definitely a dog person which is what I look for. Large garden for the dogs to play in with a park within yards of her property. Perfect
I left my Westie "Willow" with Julie the first two weeks in June 2017. As soon as I took Willow for her "interview' with Julie - I immediately felt comfortable with both the environment and Julie and Willow also made herself at home very quickly. I am very pleased to say that Julie accepted Willow. Whilst I was away Julie sent photos of Willow and was mindful of her need for a special diet. I have no hesitation in recommending Divine Dog Care
My name is Lucy and I am a Podenco, rescued from Spain in August 2015. I stayed with Julie and her family at Divine Dog Care from 8th May to 16th May 2016. It was my second holiday here and I loved it. It was nice to see Poppy (Julie's dog ) again and to meet other doggie friends throughout the week. I was taken a lovely long walk twice a day by Julie like my mummy had asked her too and I ran round her large garden playing with my friends. I had lots of cuddles and one day I even showed Julie's husband who was the boss by climbing onto his knee (think he thought I wouldn't manage to do it as I'm a big girl ha ha ) it was nice to see my mummy again when she came back off her holidays but I was sad too because I had to leave Julie's and I'd had such a good holiday too but mummy said she was so happy that I'd been looked after so well and she would let me go to Julie's lots more times for a holiday so that cheered me up. Oh and before I go I want to say sorry to Poppy for keep pinching her bed! Finally I'd like to say if any doggies or their mummies and daddies are looking for somewhere for their doggies to go for their holidays go to Julie's at Divine Dog Care because I recommend it ( and so does my mummy )
My cockapoo Alfie has spent quality time with Julie, I have to work long hours and thankfully Julie accepts Alfie very early in the morning. Alfie is always excited to see Julie and I can see this is reciprocated. I have no hesitation in recommending Divine Dog Care
